Citeel recently marked another important milestone in its global expansion strategy by participating in the two-day Slovenian governmental and business delegation to the State of Qatar. The mission accompanied the official visit of the President of the Republic of Slovenia, H.E. Dr. Nataša Pirc Musar, and aimed to strengthen economic relations, explore new collaboration opportunities, and support Slovenian companies expanding into key international markets. Citeel’s participation underscored the company’s commitment to advancing its cybersecurity and data center projects while representing Slovenian innovation on the global stage.

Strategic Engagements and Key Highlights

Citeel’s CEO, Nejc Paradiž, and COO, Oto Kern, participated in several key events and engagements throughout the delegation, including:

Business Delegation Meeting with H.E. Ambassador Natalia Al Mansour (November 9)

This meeting offered valuable insights into Qatar’s economic environment and highlighted sectoral opportunities where Slovenian companies -and Citeel in particular - can play an important strategic role.

Qatar–Slovenia Business Meeting at the Qatar Chamber of Commerce & Industry (November 9)

This central business forum convened Qatari and Slovenian representatives to explore collaboration opportunities across energy, logistics, IT, research, hospitality, and technology. Citeel, represented by Paradiž and Kern, engaged in conversations reflecting Qatar’s growing demand for advanced cybersecurity solutions, sustainable data infrastructure, and innovation-driven partnerships.

During the event, Citeel also gathered several local contacts whose insights and support will play a significant role in shaping future cooperation across Qatar and the wider Gulf region.

Diplomatic Reception (November 9)

In the evening, Citeel attended a formal diplomatic reception, offering additional opportunities to deepen relationships with Qatari stakeholders, Slovenian representatives, and international partners.

During the reception, CEO Nejc Paradiž gave an interview for the Office of the President of Slovenia, which was later published on the President’s official social media channels. Citeel’s leadership also held a brief but productive conversation with President Dr. Nataša Pirc Musar, discussing the company’s international activities and long-term strategic direction.

Visit to Qatar Science and Technology Park (QSTP) (November 10)

The delegation visited Qatar’s premier innovation hub, providing Citeel with exposure to the country’s broader research and development priorities. The visit offered valuable insights into Qatar’s innovation ecosystem and helped identify potential synergies with Citeel’s cybersecurity and data infrastructure solutions.

Meeting with Advisor Ahmed Mansoor

During the visit, Citeel held a series of constructive meetings with its advisor, Mr. Ahmed Mansoor, who travelled from Bahrain to join and support the delegation’s activities.

Mr. Mansoor also accompanied Paradiž and Kern at the Qatar–Slovenia Business Meeting, where his extensive understanding of Gulf-region dynamics and strategic partnership development proved highly valuable.

These discussions opened several promising avenues for deeper collaboration and further reinforced Citeel’s long-term ambitions in Qatar and the broader region.

Productive Engagements During the Delegation

Throughout the mission, Citeel engaged with numerous Qatari stakeholders, institutions, and potential partners. These exchanges highlighted significant opportunities for cooperation in cybersecurity, digital infrastructure, and technology-driven development. Citeel also reaffirmed its commitment to aligning its international activities with Slovenia’s strategic economic goals, ensuring that the company continues to represent Slovenian innovation and excellence abroad.

Confirmed Partnership Talks and Extended Engagements

The business meeting at the Qatar Chamber of Commerce & Industry opened several promising pathways for collaboration, providing Citeel with a diverse set of new contacts and potential strategic venues across the region. The volume and quality of interest expressed by Qatari and regional counterparts prompted Citeel to extend its visit to take advantage of the additional high-level meetings that emerged organically through these new connections. This allowed the company to deepen several discussions initiated during the delegation.

As communicated, following the informal embargo period introduced by a prospective Indonesian partner, Citeel resumed broader international discussions. The Qatar delegation proved to be a timely platform for these renewed talks, enabling the company to engage with major groups in the Gulf region and initiate exploratory conversations that mirror the structure of the previously proposed Indonesian framework. While specifics remain confidential, Citeel can confirm that these partnership discussions have formally begun, with two notable regional entities expressing clear interest.

During the extended stay, Citeel also held a highly productive meeting with the Al Mana Group, one of Qatar’s leading conglomerates. The meeting included direct discussions with a prominent member of the Al Mana family, highlighting the seriousness and seniority with which Al Mana Group approached the opportunity.

As part of this engagement, Citeel successfully showcased a public-ready demonstration of its Panthera platform, marking the first open presentation of the system. The demo illustrated Panthera’s secure distributed file protection model-file fragmentation, multi-server distribution, and verifiable provenance through on-chain metadata- which generated strong interest from Al Mana Group’s leadership. This demonstration further reinforced Panthera’s maturity and its potential applicability within large-scale regional digital ecosystems.

Emerging Partnerships and Future Prospects

The delegation served as a catalyst for new opportunities, with several meetings and exchanges now evolving into active partnership discussions. Supported by the regional expertise of advisor Ahmed Mansoor, Citeel identified multiple strategic areas where its technology solutions align closely with market needs in Qatar and neighboring countries.

These discussions hold strong potential for long-term collaboration, and their outcomes may shape the next phase of Citeel’s international growth.

A Strategic Step Forward

Citeel’s participation in the governmental delegation to Qatar represents an important step forward in its mission to become a global leader in cybersecurity and data infrastructure. The knowledge gained, partnerships initiated, and relationships strengthened during the visit will directly influence the company’s future strategy and international engagement efforts. Citeel looks forward to building on the foundations established during this mission and progressing ongoing discussions toward formal collaboration.

Citeel and the Future

Behind the scenes, Citeel continues to make significant progress across multiple strategic fronts. As certain discussions move into confidential managerial phases, we wish to emphasize that any forthcoming announcements will reflect years of dedication, expertise, and teamwork.

Once Citeel is able to officially disclose new partnerships, joint ventures, or strategic agreements resulting from this mission and other ongoing activities, our valued investors will be the first to receive the news.

In the meantime, we appreciate your continued trust and look forward to celebrating our shared successes in the near future.
